I have been a full-time faculty member at Montclair State University in the Center for Child Advocacy and Policy since September 2009. I am also the executive director of the New Jersey Children's Alliance, a statewide nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote and support the development, growth and sustainability of child advocacy centers (CACs) in their service to abused and neglected children and their families, and have been with the organization since 2012. We successfully advocated for legislation that supported the development of new CACs and enhancement of existing CACs in New Jersey, and received related state funding the past two years. I previously worked at the St. Clare’s Center for the Protection of Children and at the Dorothy B. Hersch Regional Diagnostic Center, where I conducted psychological evaluations and treatment for children and families involved with Child Protective Services. I am the chair of the state's Child Advocacy Center-Multidisciplinary Team Advisory Board and serve on the protection subcommittee of the New Jersey Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect. When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my husband, three children, and other family and friends.
