How do I get treatment at DBT-RU?

How much does treatment cost?

We aim to provide comprehensive DBT at affordable rates for everyone so that no one will get turned away due to lack of finances. Treatment costs are determined based on your household income.

What if I don’t want to participate in research?

Research is a required component of treatment at DBT-RU. If you don’t want to participate in research, then DBT-RU services are not available for you. However, we’d be happy to talk with you further about all the advantages and disadvantages of participating in a research clinic.

What if I’m not eligible for treatment at DBT-RU?

If, based on screening or the intake appointment, we determine that the services provided by DBT-RU are not a good fit for you, we will let you know. We have a list of possible referral options in the area, including low-cost ones that we will make available to you.

Who are the treatment providers?

Services are provided by advanced doctoral students in clinical psychology. All providers receive extensive training and are supervised on a weekly basis by recognized experts in DBT.
