Therapists are advanced doctoral students from the clinical and school psychology programs with a special interest in treating youth anxiety and depression. Therapists are trained and supervised by Dr. Brian Chu, Ph.D. who is a faculty member of the Department of Clinical Psychology and who has expertise in youth treatment and research.

We specialize in providing assessment and talk therapy for youth ages 8 to 16.
As part of a major training university, YAD-C is a research clinic that employs
treatment methods with the best research support for their effectiveness.

research picResearch is an integral part of YAD-C services. We use assessment and treatment practices with research support. Participating families complete assessments as part of ongoing evaluation of our services and the YAD-C program. Quite often, grants will allow YAD-C to invite families to participate in specific research projects for free or reduced fees.
