The Beautiful Mind with Deepak Chopra

Explore the Depths of the Beautiful Mind With Deepak Chopra

Hosted by J. Ivy

The Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) invites you to an exclusive opportunity to engage in a consciousness-broadening conversation that will explore mental wellness and the human mind’s complex, yet extraordinary, power.

"An Evening Journey Through the Beautiful Mind," a conversation with Dr. Deepak Chopra, will voyage into the world of mindfulness. We welcome you into a free-flowing discussion with no stigmas about and around mental health, an environment where you can connect with experts and leaders in the field of psychology and mental wellness, and enjoy an evening of unparalleled learning experiences. What is it? A shortage of mental health professionals and deficient access to proper treatment in the United States, especially in certain regions of the country.

Did You Know? Over 115 million people in the United States live in designated Health Professional Shortage Areas? These are areas in which the ratio of mental health professionals to residents is smaller than 1 per 30,000 people:

Access to healthcare services is one part of the solution.

We are working to help people access mental healthcare services through the Rutgers Mental Health Toolbox.

At the event, not only will you learn first-hand about the impact that Rutgers GSAPP is currently making on the community, the proceeds from the ticket sales will contribute to expanding mental health and wellness resources to those who need it most.
