Congratulations to Dr. Brian Chu, associate professor of clinical psychology, who received faculty honors at the Rutgers University graduation on May 13. Chu has been recognized as a fellow by the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies for outstanding contributions to the field of behavioral interventions and psychological practice. Chu is the founder and director of the Center for Psychological Services Youth Anxiety and Depression Clinic, which specializes in evaluating and providing evidence-based care for children and adolescents. His research focuses on the assessment and treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders, dissemination and implementation sciences, and access to care for diverse communities. Chu utilizes mobile applications and web-based coaching technologies to enhance the reach and penetration of behavioral services for treatment and training professionals. Editor of Cognitive and Behavioral Practice, Chu is an accomplished scholar who serves on multiple editorial boards for scientific journals, has published numerous scholarly articles and chapters, and co-edited Transdiagnostic Treatments for Children and Adolescents: Principles and Practice Guilford, 2013)
