Dr. Riley is coauthor of an article entitled, "Smoking Has Increased During the Pandemic" about the importance of decreasing smoking stigma that was recently featured in Forbes magazine. The feature states that, "...work needs to be done to combat stigma towards people with addictions. Part of ending that stigma means changing the language we use, even in research studies, to discuss addiction and those that are addicted.
