Sade Porter, a first-year doctoral student in the school psychology program at GSAPP, was recently awarded the Frank J. Epifanio Minority Graduate Student Scholarship from the New Jersey Association of School Psychologists at the Spring NJASP conference.
The Frank J. Epifanio Minority Graduate Student Scholarship is given to encourage and support a minority student’s graduate education in school psychology. This award is given to a minority graduate student who has demonstrated, by virtue of academic excellence, community efforts, and involvement in professional organizations related to school psychology, the intent to become a school psychologist. This $1000.00 award is provided through funds raised specifically for the Frank J. Epifanio Minority Graduate Student Scholarship. It is provided for educational purposes only and the recipient must be attending a school psychology graduate program in New Jersey.
