GSAPP is pleased to offer a Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis that meets the academic coursework requirements for Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (per the national Behavior Analyst Certification Board  -

(Note: in addition to the academic coursework offered by this certificate, individuals pursuing a BACB credential would also need a graduate degree, appropriate supervised experience, and passing grade on the national certification exam.)

Admission Requirements

Students are required to have been admitted to a graduate degree program in a related field (Education, Psychology) at any university. 


Course content is directly related to the task list and knowledge/content areas required by the BACB.  Course Syllabi have been reviewed and approved by the BACB and given the status of “Approved Course Sequence” (ACS)

The ABA classes are taught in a six-course sequence and are approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as meeting the academic requirements necessary for sitting for the certification exam. For information about the BACB's other requirements for certification visit

It is important to note that "Pass Rate" is only one indication of the value of a program and that other variables do impact test scores/pass rate beyond University programming. Proper supervisory experience increases the likelihood of passing the BCBA exam.
