Dr. Cadenas at the White House

Congratulations to Associate Professor, Clinical Psychology Department, GSAPP; Associate Director, CYSEW, Dr. Germán Cadenas for being honored with an invitation to "Venezuelan Day at the White House," a briefing for Venezuelan-American stakeholders.

Dr. Cadenas participated in panels related to public engagement, migration, and the accomplishments of the Latino community in the U.S. He is a nationally recognized expert in these areas.

“Visiting the White House was an incredible experience. I learned that I was among only 80 Venezuelan-Americans to be invited to celebrate this historic day. The panels were presented by high-level officials in the administration, and I got to meet folks from the Department of Health & Human Services, Office of Planning & Evaluation, House Committee on Education, and many community and immigration policy leaders.” - Dr. Cadenas

Thank you, Dr. Cadenas, for representing GSAPP in such a meaningful way!
