  2. Implement smoking cessation treatment with your patient population
  3. Plan to implement smoking cessation screening and intervention protocols in your practice or institution

Instructor

Kristen E. Riley is an Assistant Professor at GSAPP. She obtained her Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a certificate in health psychology from the University of Connecticut, and completed a health psychology internship at the MIami VA Medical Center and postdoctoral fellowship in cancer prevention at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Her program of research decreases unhealthy behaviors and increases access to care, with a focus on health disparities. Specifically, she studies stigman, rumination, superstition, mindfulness, tobacco, and sleep, and she uses dissemination and implementation science to integrate behavioral medicine into medical settings and improve access to care to get interventions to those who need them most.
