"I'm excited to build upon the knowledge that I received from the 2023 conference in New York, the subscription I received to PEP (Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing), access to presentations via the Division's listserv, and the numerous networking opportunities, especially monthly meetings with my current mentor, Lynne Layton, PhD, a practicing psychoanalyst in the Boston area.
Finally, I am eager to attend Da'Shaun Harrison (they/them)'s keynote conversation. Their work, Belly of the Beast, The Politics of Anti-Fatness as Anti-Blackness, is a profound read, and both friends and clients that I have recommended it to have found it healing."
