GSAPP was proud to actively participate in the New Jersey Psychological Association’s (NJPA) Fall Convention. Together, we celebrated the longstanding partnership between our organizations and the contributions of our faculty, alumni, and students to the field of psychology. We would like to spotlight:
Dr. Mark Lowenthal (Clinical PsyD, 1988) - Received the NJPA Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes Dr. Lowenthal's exceptional leadership, enduring contributions to the organization, and sustained impact on the lives and careers within the field of psychology.
Dr. Kelly Moore (Clinical PsyD, 2011) - The late Dr. Moore was posthumously awarded the Dr. Stanley Moldawsky Mentor Award, which was graciously accepted by her husband, Melvin Moore, on her behalf.
Dr. Del Sasso (Clinical PsyD, 2010) - Dr. Sasso presented "A Quiet Crisis: LGBTQ+ Status Update II." This presentation highlighted the status of the LGBTQ+ community and related issues surrounding its current status.
