Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence and Service to the Common Good
The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) proudly celebrates its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of being the "gold standard" in the training of future mental and behavioral health practitioners. Through pivotal service delivery, we continue making an indelible impact on the lives of underserved individuals, groups, communities, and systems.
We leverage the resources of an R1 Research University, Rutgers, yet retain close-knit relationships through our small cohorts, low faculty-staff ratios, invaluable campus, local, and statewide partnerships, donors and friends. Come along on our journey as we look back, and ahead, on 50 years of excellence.
Since our founding in 1974, GSAPP has been "Meeting the Moment." We're dedicated to preparing exceptional practitioners, scholars, and leaders in applied and professional psychology who serve diverse populations. Our community continues to put their education to work by creating lasting positive change for individuals, groups, systems, organizations, and communities at local, state, and national levels.
Help us celebrate our 50th anniversary by submitting examples of GSAPP's impact over the last 50 years and how our community has been "Meeting the Moment."
Join us for this year's culminating event as we reflect on our school's rich history and anticipate the next 50 years of excellence in scholarship, practice, research, training, and service. Get ready for a memorable evening filled with camaraderie, retrospection, recognition, and a glimpse into the future of GSAPP. Stay tuned as the clock ticks down—you won’t want to miss this milestone celebration!
Formal digital invitation and sponsorship opportunity details soon to follow.
To help commemorate this landmark year, we have several tools that we invite and encourage the GSAPP community to use in their email signatures and in all presentations.
This year, there are many opportunities to connect, or reconnect, with GSAPP faculty, staff, students, alumni, partners, donors, and friends. Fellow GSAPP community members may be at these events and others taking place this milestone year: All Events | Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology
