Celebrate With Us
The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University proudly celebrates its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of being the "gold standard" in the training of future mental and behavioral health scholar-practitioners. Through educational excellence, pivotal practical training, and exceptional service delivery, we continue making an indelible impact on systems and policies, and in the lives of underserved individuals, families, groups, organizations, and society-at-large.
GSAPP leverages the resources of an R1 Research University, Rutgers, yet retain close-knit relationships through our small cohorts, low faculty-staff ratios, invaluable campus, local, and statewide partnerships, donors and friends. Come along on our journey as we look back, and ahead, on 50 years of excellence.
A Night to Remember: Our Anniversary Gala
Thank You to all alumni, students, faculty, staff, partners, sponsors, and friends who attended and supported our culminating celebratory event at The Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick, NJ on October 4th! We are grateful for the opportunity to gather and reflect on our school's rich history and anticipate the next 50 years of excellence in scholarship, practice, research, training, and service. This memorable evening was filled with camaraderie, retrospection, recognition, and a glimpse into the future of GSAPP.
Our commemorative Gala Journal offers a deeper look at the night’s celebration, with an Honorees Showcase, heartfelt messages from our Gala Co-Chairs, descriptions about our Emcees, Crowdfunding Campaign, Student Attendants and research posters, and much more. Whether you joined us in person or were celebrating with us from afar, we invite you to read on.
