Dana Kaspereen-Guidicipietro, PhD, LPC, LCADC is an Assistant Teaching Professor and Practicum Coordinator for the Master of Applied Psychology (MAP) Program in the Applied Psychology Department. She is a psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor, and National Certified Counselor, holding a PhD in Clinical Psychology and an MA in Counseling, Human Services & Education Leadership. She is Vice Chair of the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs Professional Counselor Examiners Committee. Her extensive clinical experience includes work in both Intensive Outpatient Programs and Inpatient Psychiatric Units, as well as serving as a Mental Health Screener in a Psychiatric Emergency Room. She also established a Student Assistance Program in an urban school setting, which provided essential therapy and substance abuse intervention for adolescents. Additionally, she founded Counseling of Life, a private practice that supports individuals and families in achieving mental wellness. Dr. Kaspereen founding FAYLA, Inc. (Family Adults & Youth Life Awareness), a nonprofit promoting mental health awareness.
