The Center of Alcohol and Substance Use Studies is hosting an upcoming Cooper Colloquium Endowed Lecture, featuring Dr. Shannon Kehle-Forbes, on October 22nd, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.

Dr. Kehle-Forbes will present on the topic, "Centering Patients’ Voices in the Study of Co-Occurring Post-Traumatic Stress and Substance Use Disorders." In this talk, Dr. Kehle-Forbes will share key findings from a large randomized comparative effectiveness trial evaluating two psychotherapies for treating PTSD co-occurring with substance use. Her presentation will highlight how engaging end-users and using mixed-method data collection improved the trial's conduct and enriched its conclusions.
