Perinatal Substance Use Disorders Virtual Training Activity
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Healthfirst are offering a half-day continuing medical education (CME) program, Addressing Perinatal Substance Use Disorders through Primary Care. This live, virtual activity is designed for physicians (OB/GYN, family medicine, primary care, psychiatry, specialists), nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral health, and substance use professionals (psychologists, therapists, social workers, counselors), and other healthcare providers involved in the care of pregnant and postpartum individuals.
Participants will gain practical guidance on identifying, treating, and supporting individuals affected by perinatal substance use disorders within primary care and behavioral health settings. The program offers up to 4.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
