University Public Safety is committed to working in partnership with students, faculty, and staff to provide a safe, enjoyable, and fulfilling university experience. To better prepare the community for emergency situations, we are offering a virtual Workplace Violence and Active Shooter Preparedness training session. Vincent DeNota, director of security services for the Rutgers University Police Department, will discuss key elements of prevention and mitigation strategies to utilize in the event of an emergency. The training will be held virtually on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 10:00 am, and is designed for faculty and staff who have not received formal in-person instruction.
