Bio

Jennifer A. Summers returned to higher education by re-joining Rutgers University – New Brunswick for the Rutgers’ Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology’s (GSAPP’s) Office of Professional Development and Continuing Education (OPDCE) as the Program Coodinator for the Office of Professional Development and Continuing Education (OPDCE) in July 2022.

Previously, in healthcare, Ms. Summers was the Executive Assistant for Penn Cardiology (the University of Pennsylvania’s Health Systems). With Penn Medicine, Ms. Summers was responsible for coordinating meeting arrangements (primarily for Penn Medicine’s Chief of Cardiology). Additionally, Ms. Summers organized recruitment tasks and facilitated the Continuing Medical Education training program (for Penn Cardiology), etc.

Ms. Summers also has experience as Program Coordinator for Rutgers University’s Undergraduate Department of Political Science (School of Arts & Science) in New Brunswick, NJ. Ms. Summers’ experience in this field included programming curricular scheduling and constructing written contractual agreements for faculty as liaison between department instructors and students.

Ms. Summers is a highly experienced Financial Aid and Admissions liaison currently with thirteen years (since 2009) of experience in different fields that fully encompass all areas of customer service, as well as professional retail banking and administrative assistant experience for West Virginia University.
