Thanharat Silamongkol

Poojah (she/her) is currently a fourth year Clinical Psychology PsyD student here at Rutgers. A foreigner on US land herself, Poojah has always been interested in the diverse experiences of the diaspora, both the hardships and the joys. Her research thus far has focused on the mental health and treatment of various stigmatized and marginalized populations, from immigrants to those with borderline personality disorder. In the future, she hopes to uplift their voices by collaborating in comprehensive, interdisciplinary treatment research through participatory frameworks.

She enjoys trying new (and often weird-tasting) specialty lattes, solo drives (outside of New Jersey), and days camped out in a movie theater.
