Bio

Paul Candon is the Editorial Director of the Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs, the oldest substance use journal in the United States and a nonprofit publication based at the Center of Alcohol and Substance Use Studies at Rutgers University. Paul oversees all aspects of the journal’s publishing, editing, website, and business operations. Previously, he was Senior Writer and Managing Editor of The Johns Hopkins White Papers. He has a master’s degree in psychology with a specialization in behavioral neuroscience from The State University of New York at Binghamton, an undergraduate degree in psychology from The College of New Jersey, and a certificate in editing from New York University’s School of Professional Studies. He also holds a Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) credential.
