Dr. John Vasko

Bio
Dr. John Vasko (he/him) is a Postdoctoral Associate and Director of the ADHD Clinic at Rutgers Center for Youth Social Emotional Wellness (CYSEW). He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wyoming. He completed his clinical internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident. Prior to his doctorate, he worked as a project coordinator and earned his Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) in Clinical Psychological Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Dr. Vasko’s clinical work and research focus on assessing, treating, and improving the quality of life and well-being of individuals with ADHD across the lifespan, particularly among emerging adults and adults. He has worked in a wide range of clinical settings, including academic medical centers, schools, private practice, and community and university-based clinics. In his research, Dr. Vasko’s investigations center on developing and refining psychosocial interventions that target symptoms of ADHD and core deficits in organization, time management, and planning while also addressing co-occurring concerns such as stress, mood, and substance use. He has presented his research at numerous national conferences and has published over 15 peer-reviewed articles.
