Dr. Esha Vaid
Bio
Esha Vaid, PhD (she/her) is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Rutgers Center for Youth Social Emotional Wellness (CYSEW). Prior to joining CYSEW, she earned her PhD in clinical psychology from Pennsylvania State University and her predoctoral internship at Nemours Children’s Health. She completed her undergraduate education at Rutgers University.
Dr. Vaid’s research focuses on understanding risk, resilience, and disparities within marginalized individuals. She has a particular interest in understanding the protective factors of one’s intersectional identities and culture to promote positive development within historically excluded and underrepresented groups. Clinically, Dr. Vaid is passionate about increasing access to evidence-based interventions and assessments.
