Instructor Bio
Lisa Milano brings over two decades of Learning & Development expertise and a holistic approach to her role as a Financial Services Representative with the Center for Wealth Preservation.
Equipped with a Doctorate in Organizational Psychology from Rutgers University's Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, Lisa spent 20+ years empowering individuals and organizations through learning initiatives. As Head of Learning & Development at a research company and VP of a boutique consulting firm, she mastered the art of simplifying complex concepts and encouraging others to reach their potential.
Lisa’s transition to financial services represents a natural evolution of her learning and development work. Her passion lies in empowering everyday people through financial literacy, inspiring them to live the lives they dream of. This mission became deeply personal when she experienced both sides of financial preparation - the freedom that came from paying off her mortgage months before a corporate layoff, and witnessing elderly family members struggle with late-life financial security for their special needs child.
Her analytical nature, combined with her encouraging approach and ability to identify the remarkability of others, makes her uniquely suited to guide families through complex financial decisions. Lisa’s psychology training brings insight to special needs financial strategies, small business guidance, and family-focused solutions.
When not serving clients, Lisa tends her garden, bakes, and enjoys her children's sporting events and ballet performances with her husband.
