CYSEW - save the date

Dear Advocates and Partners in Youth Behavioral Health,

We are delighted to announce that registration is open for the 3rd annual Rutgers GSAPP Center for Youth Social Emotional Wellness (CYSEW) Youth Mental Health Equity Summit. The summit will be held on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025, from 9am – 2pm at the Douglass Student Center – 100 George Street, New Brunswick. The summit is free and includes lunch.

Registration is available here - CYSEW Summit RegistrationAttendance will again be limited to the first 200 people.

If you are not familiar with the summit, you can learn more here - CYSEW SummitThe summit is different from other events because the main goal is for attendees to meet, learn from each other, and develop cross-organization and cross-discipline partnerships that lead to new programs and improved continuity of care.

We are excited to announce that the CYSEW is again increasing the amount of grant money community/school organizations who attend will be eligible to apply for. The goal of the summit grants is to develop connections within and across communities to improve access to high-quality community-based behavioral health and wellness services.

We are also excited to announce that in response to attendee feedback and input from our community advisory board, the summit will include evidence-based behavioral health and wellness skills and strategies training opportunities for attendees. These sessions are designed to provide attendees with skills, strategies, and resources they can take back and apply in their communities.

We look forward to learning from you and working together to improve youth behavioral health on April 15th.

Josh, Germán & the CYSEW Team
