Dr. Karen Jimenez

Karen Hoffman Jimenez, Ph.D. is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and certified School Psychologist with three decades of experience in providing therapeutic and assessment services for children, adolescents, young adults, and their parents. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brandeis University and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University of Massachusetts Boston. Dr. Jimenez’s dissertation was a longitudinal study examining the protective and risk factors associated with functional outcomes with a population of young adults who experienced a lengthy psychiatric hospitalization in adolescence. More recently, she served as the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services at a college preparatory boarding school. Additionally, Dr. Jimenez has a private assessment practice which includes consultation with public and independent schools. Throughout her career, Dr. Jimenez has enjoyed mentoring and supervising psychology graduate students and trainees.
