Mitzy Gonzalez

Mitzy Gonzalez is a graduate student at the Rutgers School of Social Work in New Brunswick. In her field, she draws heavily on personal and community experiences. Mitzy aspires to work with nonprofit organizations that serve undocumented immigrants and refugees. Her interest in this field stems from her experience as an undocumented student, where she has faced limited opportunities due to her status. She hopes to bridge this gap by advocating for greater access and resources for these communities. Outside of school, Mitzy enjoys going for walks, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
