This week, the Center for Youth Social Emotional Wellness (CYSEW) at GSAPP welcomed 22 faculty, staff, and grad students from Rutgers and Fordham University, both in-person and virtually, for training on ACCESS (Accessing Campus Connections and Empowering Student Success), an innovative, evidence-based intervention designed to support college students with ADHD.

ACCESS helps students strengthen skills related to organization, time management, self-regulation, motivation, and academic success through a combination of group-based support and individual mentoring.

Participants explored the core components of ACCESS, including implementation planning, group facilitation strategies, weekly curriculum content, role-play activities, and the program's mentoring model. The training also created an opportunity for cross-university learning and collaboration focused on advancing student success.
