Congratulations to Jessica Reed for being nominated for a Resident Teaching Award from RWJMS!

Jessica Reed

Congratulations to Jessica Reed (Clinical PsyD Student), who was nominated for a Resident Teaching Award for her work as the Psychodynamic Consultation Fellow at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) in the Department of Psychiatry! She was nominated by the PGY-3 psychiatry residents and will receive her award at their graduation ceremony in June.

This is an incredible accomplishment for a doctoral student. Jess is being recognized for providing outstanding psychodynamic clinical consultation to psychiatry residents. The Psychodynamic Consultation Fellowship is an important partnership between GSAPP and RWJMS Psychiatry.

Jessica said, "I am honored, grateful and humbled to be a recipient of this award - it's still sinking in! I consider it a privilege to help train the next generation of psychiatrists and am eager for more GSAPPers

to have this opportunity through this partnership with Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. I would also like to encourage students who are passionate about psychodynamic theory and practice to consider applying for this fellowship in the future, especially those who enjoyed the peer supervision course! I've grown tremendously in this role, and it was a valuable discussion point during internship interviews."

Said Dr. Nicole Cain, Associate Professor, Clinical Psychology Department, “Congratulations, Jess! Thank you for representing GSAPP so well - you make us so proud!”
