GSAPP, in collaboration with faculty from Rutgers SSW and SAS-Newark, has secured a $4.6M federal grant to expand mental health services for children in our state’s largest school district. Through the Pathways Project, graduate fellows in school psychology and social work will provide vital school-based mental health services in six Newark Board of Education (NBOE) high-need schools.

With expert supervision, training and mentorship, paid internships and stipends, and a focus on recruiting multicultural fellows to best support ELL students, this program paves the way for a brighter future for today’s learners.
