Guest Parking on 5/15:

All guests are permitted to park in Lots 79, 74A, 70, and the Douglass Parking Deck. If your guests require accessible parking, there are 4 accessible parking spots directly next to Nicholas Music Center (NMC) and additional parking in Lot 79. As long as guests have a valid handicap placard, they can park in any available handicap spaces.

For Regalia- use website links below:

Regalia is available at Barnes and Noble (B&N) while supplies last. If you did not purchase regalia online, you may purchase or rent regalia in the store. Rental regalia is due back at the bookstore by Friday, June 6, 2025. If you have any additional questions about regalia, please contact the B&N store directly.

Important Dates: 

  • Rutgers University Commencement at SHI Stadium: Sunday, May 18, 2025
  • Rental Regalia is Due Back at the Bookstore: By Friday, June 6, 2025

Submissions received after the rental order deadline cannot be guaranteed to be delivered by April 25th.  Rental regalia will be black, degree-specific gowns, and black hoods with the velvet degree/institution color lining.  

Please keep in mind: Custom stoles have a two-month turnaround time, but there may be additional time needed for licensing to approve. These requests should also be submitted as soon as possible to avoid any delays.  

Professional Headshot:

We are requesting a professional headshot to be displayed during the GSAPP Convocation Ceremony.  Please review the criteria outlined below before submitting your photo: 

  • Recent color photo
  • Plain, white background
  • Bright, even lighting
  • Centered, frontal view of full face
  • Cropped from just above the top of the head to the collarbone
  • Eyes open and visible (wear prescription glasses if you normally do so)
  • As high resolution as possible

RU's Office of Career Exploration and Success (CES) now has two self-service photography studios available to our students for FREE to take their candidacy and digital brand to the next level. To have your photo taken professionally, feel free to schedule an appointment at the Career Portrait Lounge on the Busch or College Ave Campus.

Ceremony Photographs:

Rutgers has partnered with Pro Pics to take professional portraits of all graduates during the ceremony. Photos will be available for purchase after the ceremony. There is no cost to have your photo taken and no obligation to purchase. If you have any questions regarding photos, please contact Pro Pics at info@propicsusa.com.

Class Photo:

A group photo of all graduating students, faculty, and administration will be taken onsite, outside of the Phillip J. Levin Theater, directly after the ceremony. After the photo, please help yourselves to our lunch reception in the courtyard in front of NMC and inside the Rehearsal Hall with your family and friends!
