A group of faculty, students, and staff from our Autism Training Hub proudly represented GSAPP at the 44th Annual Autism New Jersey Conference. The event provided an opportunity to showcase the work of the Department of Applied Psychology, the Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center (DDDC), and the Rutgers Center for Adult Autism Services (RCAAS), while joining nearly 1,300 fellow attendees dedicated to advancing research, education, and services that support autistic individuals across the lifespan.
Throughout the conference, we contributed through workshops, presentations, research posters, and outreach, sharing evidence-based service and training practices and innovative research while connecting with professionals, families, advocates, and community partners from across the state.
Events like these underscore the power of collaboration in translating research into practice and strengthening supports, opportunities, and outcomes for autistic individuals and their families. We are grateful to be part of a community committed to learning, partnership, and making a meaningful impact for this underserved population.
