Kevin Eslava Group

We are so proud of Kevin Eslava, 3rd-year, Clinical PsyD Student, GSAPP; CUDCP Board Member - Student Representative, 2022-2024, for serving a 2-year term on the CUDCP board as a student representative!

Kevin and the other student representatives presented, “Addressing Transitional Issues in Clinical Training” at the national CUDCP conference in New Orleans.

CUDCP is the Council of University Directors of Clinical Psychology and is charged with promoting advancement of graduate education within the field of clinical psychology. There are only 4 student representatives on the CUDCP board, and there are 255 member programs.

Kevin said, “As I wrap up my time with CUDCP, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to represent GSAPP in this leadership position. CUDCP has allowed me to connect with a multitude of students, DCTs, and psychologists in the field, who have all been supportive of my academic career. I look forward to someday being colleagues with these esteemed members and utilizing what I have learned in this space to implement in my own future career goals."

Congratulations, Kevin, and thank you for representing GSAPP so well! Your service on the CUDCP board demonstrates the versatility of the Rutgers-GSAPP clinical Psy.D. degree and the importance of student leadership!” - Dr. Angelica Diaz-Martinez, Teaching Professor, Director of Clinical Training, Clinical Department, GSAPP
