Congrats to Sonali Singal, Winner of the NJPA Foundation Research on Diversity Issues Award!

Congratulations to 4th-year Clinical Psychology doctoral student Sonali Singal!
The NJPA Foundation Scholarship for Research on Diversity Issues is awarded to a graduate student in psychology whose work advances the understanding of diversity within the field and fosters the development of sensitive models for delivering psychological services to diverse populations.
Research topics may include cultural or ethnic issues, socioeconomic factors, gender issues, or work with underserved communities.
Sonali conducts translational research for substance use and co disorders, namely anxiety and PTSD, and among racial/ethinic minority groups. She is passionate about increasing access to effective, evidence-based treatments for minimized individuals.
