Congratulations to 4th-year GSAPP Clinical Psychology doctoral student, Jaylene Sosa, for her remarkable achievement in receiving the Hispanic Neuropsychological Society's Internship Scholarship Award!
This award is given to outstanding HNS student members to help defray registration and application costs for the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) Internship Match.
One practicum supervisor described Jaylene as “…passionate and committed to multicultural issues and serving underserved populations. She constantly brings up potential cultural considerations into her case conceptualizations. She also possesses linguistic and cultural skills/knowledge, which has enabled her to work with unique populations (i.e., testing Spanish-speaking patients).”
We couldn’t be prouder of Jaylene and this deserving honor!
