Rutgers Receives $4.6 Million Federal Grant to Support Mental Health
GSAPP, in collaboration with faculty RutgersSSW and SAS-Newark, has secured a $4.6M federal grant to expand mental health services for children in our state’s largest school district. Through the PathwaysProject, graduate fellows in school psychology and social work will provide vital school-based mental health services in six NBOE high-need schools.
Through expert supervision, training and mentorship, paid internships and stipends, and a focus on recruiting multicultural fellows to best support ELL students, this program paves the way for a brighter future for today’s learners.
